Balance (2024)

My installation Balance at Nature Art Halle. Six branches, made heavier on the broad end, belancing on each other, on a pole, high above the Zavelput, a deep pit. A seemingly impossible balance. My first version collapsed, the second did not work, the third was a great succes. Until the last day I did not know whether I would be able to present my work, or whether I would fail.

It’s like I wrote in my text: We are playin a dangerous game with the earth, the balance of the Earth and nature. I also played a game, but it was a joyfull one. It might have been possible that I went beyond the tipping point, and visitors would be looking at the remains of what once was. But I succeeded! I made the seemingly impssible. I am happy and proud!
