Crossing the borders in Eilendorf near Vaals, 5 – 10 juli

For a week, I will be part of a group of AININ (Artist in Nature International Network) members creating art on site in the Siegfried Line, the German defense line from World War II. In Eilendorf, just ‘behind’ Vaals, twelve artists and I are working for a week to create our own interpretation of the theme ‘Crossing the borders’. I am not taking the border too literally. I am going to create a work about the boundary between man and nature. A border that shouldn’t exist, a border we should cross. I have a sort of plan, with inspiration from Nepal and previous works, but the work must emerge on the spot. I look forward to doing this with colleagues from all over the world.
