Connection, Light Night Leeds 2025.

Using hundreds of blue wires, I connected the branches of a majestic hornbeam to the ground from which the tree grew. Three yellow cones threaded through the wires, extending from the tree to the ground, and from there connecting to two other trees. This created an intimate space behind Leeds Minster. A key addition was the autumn leaves embedded in the wires; a beautiful pattern that added a sense of playfulness. Visitors walked into and through the installation, took photos, and connected with it. A truly peaceful oasis in this bustling light festival.
